Humankind is the nemesis of humankind itself. Endogenous to all human institutions, social, political, fiscal, is human err; bias and gluttony erode both civilization and environment. We must be consistently aware of inherent bias to heal societal maladies and we must be minimalists for our self preservation. Econometric analysis can help to discover the cause and effect relationships that will allow us to implement measures toward positive societal change.
